ONE ADVENTURE ACTIVITY + 01 CULTURAL EXPERIENCE

Basic text for you to design your own itineraries, according to the profile and preferences of your clients. For Day 1, travelers are asked to choose one adventure for the morning and one cultural activity for the afternoon.

Passengers are picked up from their hotel In the morning, we do one of the following adventure activities:

Option #1: Lagoon Kayak
Option #2: Lagoon Kayak & bird-watching
Option #3: Stand up Paddle
Lunch: Deluxe picnic
In the afternoon:
Option #1: Misminay community & Moray ruins
Option #2: Moray ruins and Salt mines.
Dinner: Deluxe dinner
Bonfire
Overnight: Glamping

ITINERARY

DAY 01

MORNING :-

OPTION 1 LAGOON KAYAK

HUAYPO´S LAGOON / LEVEL: EASY
Today our adventure will begin at Huaypo, a gorgeous lagoon, perched on the heights of the Andes, which provides water to the neighboring communities and their crops. Its deep blue waters reflect a stunning view of the hills, mountains and nature surrounding it. For about an hour and a half we will paddle around the lagoon in sea kayaks, a graceful ride that will allow us to appreciate the nature around in all its dimensions. After paddling, our private chef will serve us a delicious outdoor picnic. Duration: 1.5 hrs. kayaking

OPTION 2 - LAGOON KAYAK & BIRDWATCHING

HUAYPO´S LAGOON / LEVEL: EASY
Today our adventure will begin at Huaypo, a gorgeous lagoon, perched on the heights of the Andes, which provides water to the neighboring communities and their crops. Its deep blue waters reflect a stunning view of the hills, mountains and nature surrounding it.
Huaypo Lake is home to a stunning variety of wild migratory birds. Armed with binoculars, as we pass around the lake we will identify many species by their song and plumage. Also, you’ll be able to look birds up in our comprehensive Huaypo bird guides.
For about an hour and a half we will paddle around the lagoon in sea kayaks, a graceful ride that will allow us to appreciate the nature around in all its dimensions. After paddling, our private chef will serve us a delicious outdoor picnic. Duration: 1.5 hrs. kayaking

OPTION 3 - STAND UP PADDLE

LEVEL: EASY
Today our adventure will begin at Huaypo, a gorgeous lagoon, perched on the heights of the Andes, which provides water to the neighboring communities and their crops. Its deep blue waters reflect a stunning view of the hills, mountains and nature surrounding it. For about an hour and a half we will paddle around the lagoon in stand ip paddles, a graceful ride that will allow us to appreciate the nature around in all its dimensions. After paddling, our private chef will serve us a delicious outdoor picnic. Duration: 1.5 hrs. kayaking

AFTERNOON :-

OPTION 1 - MISMINAY COMMUNITY & MORAY RUINS

In the afternoon, we will visit the community of Misminay, who will be waiting to welcome us. The locals will invite us to participate in their customs and traditions, including an outdoor activity and a brief ceremony of thanks to the land.
After, we will make a 20 minute descent along a trail that connects the Misminay community to the spectacular circular ruins of Moray. Here we will learn more about agriculture in the times of the Incas, in which this site was a center for agricultural experimentation.

OPTION 2 – MORAY RUINS AND SALT MINES OF MARAS

We learn more about agriculture during the empire visiting the Inca ruins of Moray, ancient experimental and agricultural center; and afterwards the salt mines of Pichingoto, impressive conglomerate of over three thousand terraces where salt is stored since the Inca time till today. Finally, we headed to our hotel in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

DAY 02

Breakfast and return to your hotel.

1. LIVE INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC

Have lunch in the open air while enjoying the surrounding nature. To elevate your senses even more, we complement this experience with live instrumental Andean music, performed by locally renowned musicians.

2. WINE TASTING

In our wine tasting, we put the best South American wines to the test, sampling different varieties, appreciating their qualities, aromas and flavors while learning more about their regions of origin.

3. EARTH TRIBUTE CEREMONY

Under the guidance of a local shaman, we will learn more about the Andean cosmological view. Then we will take part in a ceremony which venerates and thanks the Earth, recognizing it as our source of life and prosperity. This ancestral ritual seeks to connect us to our habitat, our intentions to the elements of nature that surround us, letting us take a little piece of the Andes away with us, in our hearts.

4. CHEESE & WINE TASTING

Wrap up your day before a majestic Andean sunset, while we taste the most exquisite cheeses and finest South American wines in a space specially designed for you.
